Matt Pond announces intimate record release show contest via Spotify

In celebration of "The State of Gold"  Matt Pond will be hosting a very special house show on July 10th.  Please check out his message below to see how you can win an invitation.

If you love the album like we do, we hope you'll share it with the people in your world and beyond. Word-of-mouth is greater than any publicity or review. It's the essence of any of our modest musical triumphs. 

To return the favor, we're having a contest. All you have to do is create a Spotify playlist of your favorite music -- MPPA and beyond. Chris and I will choose our favorite 20 playlists and those people will receive an invite to a record release show at my house in Kingston, NY on July 10th. In order to participate, please share the playlist on social media using the hashtag ‪#‎lookupstate‬. 

Since the show is in Kingston, NY, it only makes sense to enter if you're within a few hours of here OR if you can make plans to stay in the vicinity. 

There's a lot of trust and love implicit in this contest. But that's the best way I know to show you all how much we appreciate your participation in all these melodic lives of ours.
